This is part 2 of UX/UI design project made for UI Peeps "UX/UI Design for Game Development" taught by our esteemed mentor Stephan Dube. This part will showcase the HUD UI components, animation, and behaviour
for the concept video game Steel's Edge Arena.


This project was created with Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, & Unreal Engine
Mission start HUD animation.
HUD Components
One important thing to note is how From Software's Armored Core series heavily influenced this work.
The thought process behind the UI creation was; As an AC pilot, how I wanted to customize my AC's interface.
Testing the HUD component overlaid on a background.
For the image on the left I created a basic environment using UE 5.

Reticle and ammo counter firing-reloading animation.
Showcased below are reticle animations for every weapon firing type; Full-auto, Charged, and Homing Lock.
Some still images that I liked while testing some effects.
